Podium warrants to the original purchaser that the product purchased will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the applicable warranty period, subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

This warranty applies only to products purchased from an authorized Podium retailer and used in a normal residential setting.

Podium warrants the following parts for the specified periods from the original date of purchase:

  • Hardwood frames — Lifetime
  • Sinuous springs and suspension — Lifetime
  • Mechanisms, including recline and headrest — 5 years
  • Foam and fibre filling — 5 years
  • Leather and fabric covers — 2 years
  • Stitching and seams — 2 years
  • Electrical components — 2 years

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including pilling, fading, and wrinkling
  • Products used in a commercial or rental setting
  • Damage caused by improper cleaning, harsh chemicals, or third-party products
  • Accidental damage, misuse, or abuse
  • Damage caused by animals or pests
  • Fading or discolouration due to sunlight exposure
  • Products modified or repaired by anyone other than an authorized Podium service provider

Podium provides labour coverage for manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year from the original date of delivery. Labour coverage applies only within the service area of an authorized Podium service provider.

During the applicable warranty period, Podium will supply replacement parts at no charge. Shipping of warranty replacement parts within Canada and the continental United States is covered for the first year from the date of delivery. After the first year, shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Any application of a third-party product voids Podium's manufacturer's warranty.

This warranty is extended to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.

Natural variations in leather and wood, including grain patterns, colour variations, and markings, are inherent characteristics of natural materials and are not considered defects. Podium does not warrant the colour-fastness of any material against fading.

To ensure safe use of your furniture:

  • Do not exceed the recommended weight capacity
  • Keep fingers and hands away from moving mechanisms
  • Do not allow children to operate reclining mechanisms unsupervised
  • Ensure power cords for power recliners are not pinched or damaged
  • Place furniture on a level surface

To submit a warranty claim:

  • Contact your original authorized Podium retailer
  • Provide your proof of purchase and a description of the defect
  • Include photographs of the defect where possible
  • Our Customer Care team will review your claim and respond within 5 business days
